Is a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando your idea of a perfect family vacation? Have you been there so many times that you can plan a Disney vacation in your sleep? If so, then Mickey and company want to hear from you ASAP! As part of a year-long promotion, Disney is searching for a few good moms--twelve in fact--who, according to the folks at Disney, "have mastered the art of planning a Walt Disney World vacation." Once selected, the lucky dozen will be part of the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, an online forum where future guests can request advice about planning a Disney vacation. Even better, the dozen winners will receive a five-night vacation for four to the Orlando resort. Disney will be accepting submissions from Sept. 6, 2007 through Oct. 5, 2007, and interested applicants can visit disneyworldmoms.com for more information. Do you have what it takes?

Didn't seem to be a letter to editor section or a blog after the article referred to on Northern Spain, but...

I've noticed a trend lately in BT for travel writers to make their reports extremely first person, to the point of inserting so much self obsessed blather about their partners, friends and all their antics, that one gets annoyingly distracted from the information desired, which is not all about them--the travel writer--but about the place itself. Paint a picture with your words, and keep yourself out of it, thank you. Unless you're Hemingway or a famous writer doing a diary, it's pretentious and boring and makes one want to stop reading and go buy a guide book.

What about Dads? Do they ever plan vacations . . . or just pay for them? Time to stop perpetuating the "uninvolved dad" bias permeating our society.

I found Disney to be a great experience with my family. The advice I can give that is wrth a weight in gold is understand what your meal plans are all about before you go, check out all the resturants and make reservations way ahead of time.

I am a huge Disney Fan and a Disney DAD. I am president of the local chapter in my town of the NFFC (National Fantasy Fan Club-a group for Disney Enthusiasts) and can plan a trip to Disney in my sleep. Plus as a former cast member know a lot of the tricks to saving money. Why are dads being exluded from this project. Why cant it be renamed Disney Parents.
