I have had 3 nightmare trips on American Airlines! 2 of my flights to Belize and Costa Rica went thru Miami - the worst airport on the planet! I have been stuck on the tarmac for hours - once waiting for maintenance to change shifts so they could replace a tire! NO offer of even a glass of water - NO apologies from the flight attendants - just unbelievable! I also got stuck in Miami overnight when our international flight was delayed and I missed my connection. The gate and ticket counter people were SO RUDE! They claimed our flight got in with enough time to get our connection so they weren't responsible!! They offered a lame discount coupon for a hotel that turned out to be under major renovations! We waited Forever for the van to get us there. The food was so horrible I couldn't eat it so at Least I didn't get charged for That part of the nightmare! Turns out they gave some passengers on my flight a coupon for a Free night's stay and complimentary dinner - guess it depended on who you talked to at the ticket counter! AA could care Less what happens to their passengers - rude staff - bad service - I will Never go through Miami airport again for the rest of my flying days! AA may think they have a "lock" on Central America - but I have found a Miracle connection for my next trip to Belize with Continental - through Houston with a NON-STOP flight home!! I'll keep you posted on that experience! Betty Shippee, Plymouth, MA 9/6/07

Has anyone every traveled with Freegate Travel? Based in Garden City, New York, claims to have been in business for 25 years, yet I have NEVER seen an advertisement for this group in ANY Travel magazine, including Budget Travel.

Any information would be appreciated.
