Posted by: David LaHuta, Thursday, Oct 18, 2007, 4:48 PM

Here's an update to our earlier post on the latest version of the language learning programs by Rosetta Stone. For a free seven-day trial of the Rosetta Stone program, sign up at rosettastone.com/nyc to start learning one of about 10 languages. Act fast: The offer is valid for any seven days between October 14 and 31, 2007, but you have to act by Oct. 24.

Do you know that I was *this* close to paying $499 for the full Version 3 course after reading the earlier post? Glad I waited! I leave for Paris in a few weeks and really need to brush up on my French. Thanks for the tip!

Glad we could help. Good luck in Paris. And be sure to check in next Tuesday the 24th at noon ET for our guest expert talking live and answering reader questions about Paris. You can submit your question in advance now: http://www.budgettravel.com/bt-srv/misc/0506_tripcoach.html

I've used the Rosetta Stone Italian program - Spanish is my second language and I have studied several other languages over the years - and I love it! Its an easy and effective way to learn a new language. Much easier than any other way I have found. This is a great opportunity for your readers.
