Save/ShareEos Airlines flew its last flights yesterday, after entering bankruptcy.
In case you missed it, Eos was an all-business class airline that began flying its route between New York JFK and London Stansted in October 2005. Budget Travel gave Eos an Extra Mile Award in 2006 because of its standard practice of sending a representative to meet a passenger at their car and speeding them through check-in and security. With 48 fully reclining seats on a plane that could accommodate 220 passengers, Eos offered plush flights.
If you purchased a ticket, contact Eos for a refund. If Eos is unresponsive, contact your credit card company. Other airlines, including BA and Silverjet are offering business class tickets at Eos's prices for last-minute fares, to help stranded passengers.
