An American actress named Amy Walker has created a YouTube video, "21 Accents," in which she introduces herself in 21 accents…"from the UK and Ireland to Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia, France, Australia, New Zealand, and around North America."

It's a treat to listen to.

This is great. I plan to play it for my French students next year to show them how difficult English can be! And this doesn't even take into account all of the spelling and phonetic variations of English-- threw, through, thru, and tough, though, thou and thought.
