Fabulous, dahling: British Airways is offering a deal to London. Book a flight, and you can get two free nights at 10 participating hotels. The package starts at $312 for New York City to London round-trip. Taxes add $143.
There's a required Saturday night stay, and a $30 surcharge each way for traveling Thursday through Sunday.
Not in NYC? There are other gateways.
Book by Jan. 29 for travel between Jan. 27 and Mar. 22, 2009.
This "London for Free" offer of two-free nights at a hotel when you fly BA, which we told you about in September, is available again. Note that this spring, prices are lower than they were in the fall (ba.com/freelondon).
Another tip. George Hobica, editor of Airfarewatchdog.com, tells us that, "Airlines often launch amazing sales on a Saturday because competitors can't match them quickly. That's because the computer systems that distribute fares to sites like Orbitz only update once on Saturday, around 5 p.m.

Thanks for promoting the tax included price!

Is this fare subject to an additional fuel surcharge of over $200? What would be the complete fare from Seattle to London with all taxes and surcharges? What would be the fare from Seattle to London on July 29 thru Aug. 12, 2009

Hi Kathleen,
Thanks for writing. There are no additional fuel surcharges -- the additional fees are what we mentioned in the post. As for your questions, I found a $564 per person round-trip package from Seattle to London in February, including all taxes. This deal is valid only until May 24 (at higher prices), so unfortunately I couldn't price out anything for your trip dates in July and August.
The booking engine for BA is pretty easy -- feel free to price out some other dates for your trip here (http://www.britishairways.com/travel/offerus135/public/en_us?openx=zoneid186@us_home_c1$us_jan09_sale_2.gif)
Thanks again for your comments!
