Posted by: JD Rinne, Wednesday, Mar 25, 2009, 1:11 PM

Taking your shoes off at airport security is one of those dreaded necessities, like dentist appointments and reading about the struggling economy. Brilliant! That's got to be one of the biggest line-slowers in the airport security line -- having to take off your shoes. When will we get this in the US?? Our airports need to implement this, like, yesterday...

Another weapon in the U.S. government's war on its own citizens! What's even worst than having to take your shoes off before getting through security is having to take them off AFTER landing, returning to the U.S. through Seattle. Welcome home, citizens!

Are they using x-rays? "Sniff" technology? I really don't want more x-rays of any part of my body, if that's the technology.

Just recently I flew SAN to IAD. Security took my shoes out of the bin to scan them. No one else in my group had this done to them. This held up our line to go through security. I understand why this has to be done, and having the MagShoe sounds like a very good idea!
