Have weird fun in NYC this weekend
Posted by: Thomas Berger, Thursday, May 21, 2009, 12:24 PM

If you're in New York City this weekend, head to Roosevelt Island for a wacky improv "mission" called MP3 Experiment Six. Here's how it works: You download this file: The MP3 Experiment Six. Wear a red, blue, yellow, or green T-shirt, with a white T-shirt under that. Get to Roosevelt Island before 4 p.m., and then precisely at 4, start the MP3 and follow instructions. Full details are here: MP3 Experiment Six—Full Details.

Thoroughly confused yet? Here's what a previous MP3 Experiment looks like:

I don't know what's going to happen at Roosevelt Island on Saturday, but given the emphasis on the two T-shirts, it's a safe bet that the colored shirts will be coming off at some point.

This is a good chance to do something out of the ordinary, whether you're a New Yorker or a visitor. And it's a fun reason to head over to Roosevelt Island, which is a great place for a summer ramble.
