There are also free performances in Syracuse, NY at Thorndon Park. The park is noted for beautiful rose gardens.

Kansas City also has an annual Shakespeare production in Southmoreland Park. This year it is The Merry Wives of Windsor.

And Asheville, NC has free performances in the summer: Cymbeline (July 10 through 25), Taming of the Shrew (July 31 through August 23), and Macbeth (September 11 through October 4).
