We asked, and you came through with spectacular photos from U.S. national parks, including this shot of Glacier National Park from myBT member Ketchie.

See the slide show.

Inspired? We've also got practical advice to help you get outdoors: National Parks (Minus the Crowds) maps out itineraries for four popular parks. Try planning your visit around one of this summer's free admission weekends, and browse our national park deals.

Loved the national park photos, thank you one and all for sharing. Does anyone have photos of the Northern Lights? I have always wanted to see them and have been to Alaska several times hoping to get a glimpse without luck. I would love to see
that.

Beautiful pictures! We have seen all the parks and our favorites would have to be any in Utah. What a beautiful wonderland.

YamonJon,
I would really appreicate the intinerary of your 4 corners parks vacation. Also any travel tips regarding distance traveled per day and amount of time that it took. If you would recommend any places to stay that would also be great.
Thanks Betty

I've seen many of the parks but would like to go again. Please share your itinerary with me, too.

Thank you for the lovely photographs.

Loved the pictures of the spectacular landscapes in the more western areas of the US, but remember there are gorgeous areas to explore in the east, as well--Acadia in Maine, Cape Hatteras National Seashore in North Carolina, Shenandoah (VA), Great Smokies (TN and NC), Mammoth Cave (KY) are among our favorites. Come east and explore!

We went on a grand tour of national parks out west a few years ago. These pictures bring back fond memories..... Still haven't gotten to Glacier (it was too cold) and missed some of the southern parks because of Hurricaine Katrina. We bypassed the southern states.
