The package comes with two nights' hotel in Reykjavik, a full-day tour that takes in geothermal areas, waterfalls, and national parks, and airfare from as far away as Seattle, all starting at under $500.
It can be difficult to find airfare for under $500 to Europe, so this is quite a value. Some specifics: The least expensive package prices are for midweek departures between November 5 and December 15. You can expect higher rates if you want to fly on a weekend or over the Thanksgiving weekend. Packages based on midweek departures and double occupancy start at $489 per person if flying from Boston or New York, and $499 from Seattle.
Bonus: Lodging is at the Icelandair Hotel Loftleidir, a four-star property which guarantees that guests can check in as early as 9 a.m. (This is important since flights from the U.S. arrive into Iceland in the morning.)
Another bonus: While Iceland may be cold and dark at this time of year, it's also prime time for spotting the Northern Lights.
The second day of the trip puts guests aboard the Golden Circle Classic tour. Guests are picked up at their hotel at 9 a.m. and put on a bus to visit geothermal areas, hot springs, and Gullfoss, one of Iceland's prettiest, most impressive waterfalls, before returning to the hotel around 5 p.m.
Reservations must be booked by October 22. For more details and online bookings, check out Icelandair's Golden Circle Getaway.

SHAME ON YOU for not including the SS (single supplement) price. Yours is the only publication that most of the time prints the SS price...and that is the main reason I subscribe.

Also received this too late to be useful. It sounds interesting. Will it be available again soon?
