Save/ShareSave the date! On November 9, 2009, you'll be able to book itineraries on the latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Dream.
The Dream's maiden voyage sets sail on January 26, 2011 and will offer three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.
Now, we could load you down with some fun facts about the ship, like how it's 40 percent larger than its two existing sister ships, or has an additional 1,900 rooms. We could geek out over the virtual portholes installed in interior cabins (round TV screens that show the view outside, with Disney characters superimposed on top). We could even wax poetic about the new dining venues, like the Enchanted Garden, where the scene shifts from day to night while you eat.
But let's be honest—any assessment of the Dream stops and ends with one word: AquaDuck. What is the AquaDuck? It's a water coaster. A water coaster that's almost 800 feet long, four decks high, and has clear tubing. Oh, and did we mention that the tube loops out off the boat and comes back again? So that clear tubing lets you clearly see the ocean below…

My family and I have gone on 2 Disney Cruises and we have already started to plan on our 3rd. We are definately going to go on one of new ships once they set sail. I recommend them for everyone!

Katrina, Disney has not released its price list as of yet. You can check at http://www.disneycruise.com. If nothing else, they would have to release the prices by Monday, as that's when you can actually start booking.

Hi Katrina. I attended the Disney Dream launch event for Budget Travel, and a Disney representative there said prices for an inside stateroom on three-day cruises in February and March would start at $389. Hope that gives you a better idea on pricing!

We just got back from a seven day Magic Cruise. It was awesome! We have found some great Disney Dream Deals for 2011. If you have not been on a Disney Cruise you need to reward yourself and go.

We like to go on the maiden voyage of the New Disney cruise. We are 2 adults and 4 children, ages 3 years, 5 years, 6 years and 8 years. On spring break 2011 . Please let me know if this is possible.? F. Weilandt
