The tip on the cookies is very good. I use the BT search engine to i.d. the best deals and have my browser (Mozilla Firefox) set to delete all cookies and other internet files every time I exit. The tip on using cash was also quite good. We got severely gouged on a Visa card we used in Costa Rica. Next time we will just use cash instead. Good job BT!

These are fantastic tips. Also wanted to mention, regarding the hotel problems - we always rent a timeshare (we use http://www.redweek.com) for budget-friendly accommodations. You can stay at a luxury resort for way less than hotel rates, and you have much more space. And fly Southwest - they're not charging per piece of luggage - yet.
