Erik Torkells, Editor in Chief
Erik Torkells In this photo, I was…Inside a James Turrell Skyspace at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. I love Turrell's work, and his Skyspaces in particular (they're essentially rooms with a hole in the ceiling). My partner and I took his grandmother to San Francisco for the weekend, and the de Young was definitely a highlight.

I won't leave home without…At least one bag of M&Ms
My biggest travel gripe is…Relentlessly noisy airports; TVs, beeping carts, announcements about the moving sidewalk ending—it drives me bananas!
My best road trip was…Eastern Oregon, Iowa, West Texas—I've loved them all
